There are half of multi drug resistant tuberculosis in Istanbul. Health Sciences University Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases and Chest Surgery Education Research Hospital is one of both reference hospital. I am responsible of tuberculosis clinic in which a multi-drug resistant and extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis patients referred from all cities of Turkey
2010-2012 and 2012-2014, 2016-2018 I worked as a member of the board of the Turkish Thoracic Society Tuberculosis Working Group. 2014 -2016 I worked a secretary of the Turkish Thoracic Society Tuberculosis Working Group . 2018-2020 I am working head of Turkish Thoracic Society Tuberculosis Working Group
